To be honest, I’ve always been pretty serious when it came to working out, and I’ve been able to make some good progress. But I have a new mindset now. I mentioned this last week, due to the fact that our world is spinning out of control.
I want to be a little more specific on what I’m doing, because ideas come from ideas, and if any of you readers want to get more into the workout side of things then you can take some of what I’m doing, or you can just use it for motivation.
So here’s what I’m going to be doing, starting today. I’m going to be working out 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with heavy weight training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, I’m going to be doing more cardiovascular based workouts, exercise routines and techniques which will build my stamina, build my wind up.
For my diet, I’m going to be cutting out most sugars and processed foods, doing my best to get more vegetables in.
I am going to make sure I get no less than 7 hours of sleep a night so that my body is well rested and better able to rebuild after the muscle breakdown during the workouts.
This is my new mission, and, although not strictly spiritual I feel this is God’s will for me. I encourage you to do something to take care of yourself. We must be healthy Body, Mind, and Soul!
