Life hurts, and it’s hard. But it hurts more, and it’s harder, if we turn away from God.
The dignity of a human person, surpasses all other physical things on this earth. For we are all made in the image of God. Nothing can take this away, and each one of us is an unrepeatable masterpiece.
It takes complete abandonment, complete trust in God before we are able to move deeper in our spiritual lives. But it’s a struggle. One that we face everyday, and one that we have to choose to conquer. Complete trust is hard. But choosing not to trust God, and trying to live life out on your own is harder.
God can use us, even in our doubts and anxieties. Have faith in Him. Trust Him. Give all your fears up to His strength, and keep moving forward. God never wants us to be moving backward in the midst of a fight, He only wants us to trust in Him, and thus, win our battles within. To trust is to win half the battle. To act upon it is to win the rest.
Never leave a fellow soldier behind. It doesn’t only apply to the battlefield in earthly terms, but it also applies to the spiritual war. You were born for this. You are supposed to take in impact in this spiritual fight, and help other to do the same.
Patience. It is one of the most important virtues, because without it hardly anything worthwhile can be accomplished. It curbs the temper, and avoids rash behavior, allowing someone to excel in other virtues.
Mary, mother, we call on you to help us in our need, and ask for your loving presence as we fight to defend every one of God’s children in the womb. Be with us as we face down the attacks from the evil one, and grant us victory, through your Son’s name. Amen.
No one can overrule the laws of God. It’s not possible for one of His creatures to tell Him what is right or wrong, when He is the one who endowed us with our reason to discern right from wrong.
We can’t expect our society to get any better morally if we don’t do anything about it. We can’t expect shaking our heads and turning away is going to fix anything. We need to act! It’s time for heroes to rise up within our society and take a stand for the good that’s left in our world.
Ave Maria! She is the Queen of heaven, the Queen of the world. Ave Maria! She is always ready to answer her children’s call. Ave Maria! Put every confidence in her. Ave Maria! She is the mother of all. Ave Maria! The most tender. Ave Maria! The dispenser of grace. Ave Maria! Oh, Mother, come walk among us, so that we may grow ever closer to your Son.
Man’s ways are never the solutions to a problem. When man tries to fix something, without God, it gets worse. All we need to do to see this is look around at our world today. Things are in chaos because we have taken God out of everything. So how could we fix it? Bring God back in.
Conversion of the heart, that is what we need in our world today. And we need it so desperately. We are self destructing, and no one seems to care. The carnage and filth is ignored, and, in some cases, praised as good, while the virtue is cut down as evil. We are so backwards. We need conversion of hearts.
Prayer and Sacraments! These are our weapons to fight the Spiritual Battle; now and forever, it will always be through Prayer and Sacraments!
What evil do we need to see bearing down on us before we wake up to reality? How often must truth be attacked before we fully commit to engaging in the spiritual battle? Pray! Pray! Pray!
Why is it we accept challenge and struggle in lesser things, but not in higher things? We accept the harsh, biting trials in sports, the path to fame, the way of business; yet anything of real importance is over looked! Why is that? Why do we as people give up on the higher things in life, be it marriage, family, faith, relationships or self control? Why have we as a race forgotten where true value comes from, what it can do, and where it can lead us. Think about it.
Life is not about how much fun you can have. Or how much money you can make. The only thing that will matter at the end is your relationship with God, and the people around you, so spending too much time focusing on the lesser things in life is pointless. Focus on God, and people.
