I don't think I need to go through the list of how weird things are becoming, especially after the Donald Trump presidential victory. Anyone who pays even a little attention to the news can see how things are escalating. And it can be scary. So why aren't we acting upon our fears and concerns, striving to give themselves even more fully to God?
Maybe you are already trying, but you could always do a little more, and so could I. Everyone could always do a little more. A little more sacrifice, a little more prayer, a little more giving. Thanksgiving is almost here, and it would be a good time for us to reflect on everything we have been given by God, and how we need to be giving Him something back.
We cannot think things will one day, suddenly, go back to the way they were before. That is not logical thinking when things have only continued to get worse as the months go on.
An example of this? Well, only a few months ago, the shootings of police officers were suddenly happening, and they were taking place in more “ambush” style attacks. People were freaking out about it and it was all over the news.
Now, you would only hear of it on some private news network, and the consistency of how frequently these attacks are happening are shocking. But hardly anyone seems to care anymore. Like everything else, complacency has set in.
This is just one example to get the point across. Just because you are no longer hearing of something over the mainstream news, does not mean it is no longer happening.
As with everything, we must go to God. The spiritual battle is not over. We can still make a difference in this fight for souls. Never give up, stay strong in Christ. God bless. Zac.
