The mission of this is so you, the reader can walk away after each blog post with something to help you get through the day. A shot in the arm for the day.
I know that this week I went out of order, first going with, Soul, then Body, and now today is Mind. But that’s my fault, and I won’t be doing that again!
So what are you going to get with each Body, Mind, and Soul post? For Body it’s simple, it will be something similar to last Wednesday’s post, where we focus on the body as a Temple of the Holy Spirit, and I will give tips and tricks, along with a little idea of some sort of workout exercise.
For Mind, I will share with you a wide variety of things. It could be an inspirational quote from a saint which we can contemplate, or it could be a small written piece from a spiritual book I’m reading that I’d like to share.
Soul. On this one, I will give you ideas on how we can all grow spiritually. This is a journey and a struggle for me as well, so I will share how my spiritual life is going, along with what I may be doing to grow. You may call it an effort to grow closer to all you readers, so that we may strive for holiness together.
For this, The Body, Mind, Soul Initiative, please comment and tell us what you may be doing in your personal lives. This will help us all, and help us see different ideas on how our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are doing in their spiritual fight for salvation!
Now, to wrap this up I just want to let you know what we will be focusing on for the Mind portion of this new step. I am currently doing the “33 Days to Morning Glory” the consecration to the Blessed Mother, written by Fr. Michael Gaitley. In future posts, I will be delving into this book a little bit. So stay tuned!
God bless you all, please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep you in mine. Zac.
