As a 20 year old millennial man, I wanted to give a shot of encouragement to those out there who are my age, or close to, who are also feeling the pressure from their peers to conform.
I get it, and I'm here to say don't give up. And I'm in no way patting myself on the back, because I am only doing what others do for me. They encourage me, so, I am encouraging them. If we don't stick together, we will fall. So, once again, keep fighting the good fight.
Things are hard, and they’re only going to get harder, but as the going gets tough it will only make us stronger for Christ. I am very encouraged when I see those my age trying to grow deeper in their faith, and in turn, that makes me keep going with things are difficult.
We cannot hide in our faith, because we have no idea who we could be impacting throughout our daily lives. That could be our mission, to be a light in a world of darkness by helping lead by example. We never know who is watching, and even the one who is the most vocal in calling you out in your beliefs may be the one you are impacting the most.
Do not give up. Be a light. We need more of them. God needs more of them. A steadfast person of faith and deep conviction, changes the way someone with no faith and no path thinks, because they realize the are missing something, even if they do not know exactly yet. Plant the seed in their mind.
God bless you all. Zac.
